"In 2009, we saw the Australian mobile broadband market maturing, with subscribers soaring by more than 80% and carriers broadening the range of plans on offer. Entry-level plans fell in price by an average of 25% in 2009 to become more affordable; however, at the high end, changes were less significant," says Mark Novosel, market analyst, Telecommunications, IDC Australia.
