The Pakistan Telecom Authority has released its mobile subscriber market data for March 2016 on 20 April 2016.
Mobilink remains the dominant player with some 38.12 million mobile subscribers at the end of March 2016. up from 33.99 million at the end of July 2015. Second ranked is Telenor that ended the period with some 36.78 million mobile subscribers.
Third placed is CMPak, which saw subscriber acquisition levele off during the period, to end with some 24.67 million subscribers. Fourth ranked Ufone saw steady growth, rising from 17.89 million at the end of July 2015 to 20.82 million at the end of March 2016.
Warid is ranked fifth, and had some 11.02 million subscribers at the end of the period.
